The short version

This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics or advertising scripts, loads nothing from other companies’ servers, and has no forms. Our web server keeps a standard log of requests for up to 30 days. If you email us, we use what you send to answer you.

What the site itself collects

• No cookies and no tracking. The pages are plain files. They set no cookies and run no analytics, advertising or social-media scripts. Fonts and images are served from this site, not from a third party.
• No forms. Contact links open your own email program. Nothing you type on this site is sent anywhere.
• Server access logs. Like almost every web server, ours records each request: the time, your IP address, the page asked for, and what your browser sends with every request, such as its name and version and the page that linked you here. The logs stay on our own server, are rotated automatically, and are deleted after 30 days at most. We use them to keep the site running and secure, and to count visits; any traffic report we make from them anonymizes IP addresses.

Email you send us

If you write to us, we receive your message, your address and anything you attach. We use it to answer you and to do the work you ask for, and we keep it as part of our business correspondence. We do not sell it or add you to a mailing list.
